Mark is President of Seabourn, the leader in ultra-luxury cruising and expedition travel. In this role, he is responsible for all aspects of the award-winning cruise line’s global business and operations, leading a diverse team from over 90 countries. He reports to Beth Bodensteiner, President of Holland America Line.

Seabourn represents the pinnacle of the ultra-luxury and expedition experience with boutique ships offering all-suite accommodations and all-inclusive dining, premium spirits and fine wines. The intimate yacht-like experience includes renowned service by an industry-leading crew and relaxed, sociable atmosphere that makes guests feel at home.

Mark came to Seabourn with substantial experience in the cruise, luxury and boutique hotel space. He
was most recently Global President, Aimbridge Hospitality, leading the business and operations for its
1500 hotels. His prior roles include leadership of hotel and onboard operations for Royal Caribbean
International and SVP of Guest Operations for Carnival Cruise Line. He also worked for more than 20
years with luxury and boutique hotel brands including Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts and Ian Schrager
Hotels.

Personal & Educational Background

Mark received a B.S. in Hotel Administration from Cornell University where he was also a varsity wrestler. He founded the nonprofit Dads for Giving which encourages fathers to spend quality time with their children while teaching them the value of giving back to their community. Mark loves the outdoors and has climbed Kilimanjaro, Mount Rainier and 30 of the Colorado 14ers.
